Our Goal

The St. Maries Public Library provides materials and services of popular interest to the community, emphasizing and encouraging reading by children, supplementing the educational needs of the community, and furnishing timely, accurate information.

If you can't find what you're looking for at our library, perhaps an interlibrary loan is the answer. We can borrow almost any book from another library. This provides access to a wide range of materials from university and public libraries, and also to collections in other states.

The library collection includes a wide variety of children's tapes, adult books on tape, short stories and poetry, and old radio shows. Cassette tapes are wonderful companions on auto trips as well as for home listening.

Video collection series are also available at the library concerning a vast array of subjects.
